What is Emburse in Motion 2026?
Emburse in Motion is our annual user conference bringing together finance, accounting, and travel professionals for three days of learning, networking, and innovation.

When and where is the event?
Emburse in Motion 2026 will take place May 12–14, 2026, in New Orleans, Louisiana at the Sheraton Hotel.

When can I register for Emburse in Motion 2026?
Registration is now open. Click here to register. 

What is the dress code?
Business casual is recommended. We suggest layers for comfort in varying indoor temperatures.

What’s the weather like in New Orleans in May?
Expect warm, pleasant weather—typically in the mid-80s during the day and 60s at night.

Will Wi-Fi be available at the venue?
Yes. Complimentary Wi-Fi will be provided throughout the conference spaces.

How can I justify attending the conference to my manager?

Which airport should I fly into?
The nearest airport is Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport (MSY), about 25 minutes from the conference hotel.

Is transportation provided between the airport and hotel?
Transportation is not included, but rideshares, taxis, and shuttles are readily available at the airport.

Is parking available at the venue?
Yes. Onsite parking is available for hotel guests at prevailing rates.

How can I book my hotel?
You can request your hotel arrival and departure dates during registration. The special conference rate is $219 per night (excluding taxes and fees). Reservations can be modified until April 15, 2026, within the attendee portal.

When will the full agenda be available?
The detailed agenda, including breakout sessions and speakers, will be released in early 2026.

How do I select breakout sessions?
Session registration will open closer to the event. You’ll receive an email once it’s available.

Will sessions be recorded or available on demand?
Select sessions may be recorded and made available to registered attendees after the event.

What are the conference hours?
Programming typically follows the schedule below (subject to change):

  • Tuesday, May 12 from 1:00 pm to 5:00pm followed by the Welcome Reception
  • Wednesday, May 13 from 8:00 am to 5:00pm with evening networking events
  • Thursday, May 14 from 8:00 am to 5:00pm concluding with NOLA Night Out

What is a CPE credit?
CPE stands for Continuing Professional Education. These credits help accounting and finance professionals maintain their certifications and stay current with industry standards and best practices.

Can I earn CPE credits by attending Emburse in Motion 2026?
Yes. Emburse is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing professional education. Eligible sessions at Emburse in Motion 2026 will qualify for CPE credit. Please note that state boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses. How can I connect with other attendees?
